Bully Sauce has been a work in progress for some time now. The sauces are a product of growing  up in the restuarant business and constantly trying out different sauces. 

When I was a kid, my father used to make me cut squash at our local family BBQ restaurant. I started young, and did the grind until I was eventually promoted to the line cook, where I began to experiment with different sauces.

My grandfather, Ralph Yarbrough was the first to create his blend back in the '50s; and this was part of the inspiration for our brand.

After the restaurant, I attended Samford University in Birmingham. Jumping forward twelve years, I met my wife, who was a Mississippi State alumnus. Personally coming from a family in Georgia, going to Samford in Alabama, and marrying into Mississippi State, I think it's fair to say we have "bulldog" in our blood.

From there spawned our obsession and loyalty to the bully breeds. Bulldogs are a fierce breed with bold personalities. Yet, once they warm up to you, they are as sweet as can be. Our bulldog, Rawlings is the face of our first two sauces! We find his temperament to be a good reflection of the sauce.
