The Fresh Squeeze started as a way to unite this team's passion of being in the kitchen, sustainability and nutrition. A few years ago, co-owner Aaryn Melnikoff received a juicer as a birthday present and immediately begin to understand the quality and result of raw juice. Growing up he was mainly exposed to the pasteurized, sugar laden juices found in grocery stores. Aaryn describes the process of pasteurizing juice as actually killing the micro-nutrients and live enzymes from the produce that are most beneficial for the consumer; it also degrades the taste, which is why sugar is added back to the juice. The Fresh Squeeze team has a goal: to enjoy great tasting juices, unpasteurized with all of the natural healthy benefits while sourcing local ingredients. The opportunity to impact people's healthy and well being through their products ignited their motivation to create The Fresh Squeeze.
