3 acres in downtown Birmingham and 25 acres south of the town of Mt. Laurel, downtown location is about 2 miles from the Pepper Place Saturday Market.People
The downtown site is farmed by Katie Davis and Steph Munkachy and the acreage in Shelby County by Sarah Ellison and Keith Caton. Volunteers assist at both sites accompanied by summer interns.Certification

Jones Valley Teaching Farm was created in 2001 as a 501(c)3 non-profit project by Page Allison and Edwin Marty. It has since grown into a model, non-profit education-focused organization dedicated to promoting nutrition education and sustainable farming.pest Management
