The outdoor market has three areas of tents with farmers, makers and food vendors, and live music.
You’ll find tents located in the “big parking lot” off of 2nd Ave. South, on 29th Street South and in the Martin Biscuit Building parking lot. Click here for a map.
Remember, we are only open on Saturday mornings!
Farmers Market hours are 7:00 am - 12:00 pm, rain or shine.
We are open on holiday weekends like Memorial Day, July 4th, Thanksgiving, etc.
Weekly live Cooking Demonstrations will begin May 4 through October 5. View the 2019 Schedule here.
Weekly live music stages are found at the Market every Saturday this year! You’ll find this month’s line up here.
The last outdoor market for the 2019 season will be December 14.
Have you seen our weekly Vendor Lists? We upload the list of the vendors scheduled to attend each market because most Saturdays you’ll find a different variety of makers and food vendors! Our farmers usually keep a consistent schedule throughout the growing seasons.

Don’t forget: we are a certified Alabama farmers market so you’ll only find Alabama grown, raised and made goods!

For almost 20 years we've supported small farmers and makers by bringing locally-grown produce and Alabama-made goods to the Birmingham communities! During summer months, we offer fun activities like chef demos, maker talks, book signings, weekly children's activities, live music and more. We're excited to help improve fresh food access through accepting SNAP/EBT each Saturday.
Enjoy free public wifi year-round at the Market at Pepper Place! It's a thing this season because we love our shoppers and vendors that much.
